35mm & Slide Reprints

At Photo Remuera we have the ability to not only scan 35mm films and slides, but we are also able to scan many custom larger size films. This enables us to turn the negatives into ether digital files or into high-quality prints.

Photo Blocks

Photo blocks are a great alternative to displaying photos compared to traditional framing, for a similar price. Photo blocks are made to be able to both stand on a flat surface and hang on the wall. They are made by mounting a high quality photo print onto a ether a white or black wooden block with a long-lasting adhesive.

Artmount

Artmounts have a similar relationship to both large poster size prints and block mounts. What it is is a large print mounted onto a light backing with many colour options. Once the photo is mounted it is coated with a UV protective layer to prevent sun and lighting damage.

Photo Books

Unfortunately at the moment we are unable to provide our customers with the creation of photo books due to our previous provider discontinuing the service. We are looking to found a new provider over the new year.

We offer both digital and physical passport photos and other photo identifications. We have a strong knowledge on the requirements for each countries visa's and passport photos.

Film development

We develop all C-41 films in store on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We can both print the photos or convert them to a digital format and burn them to a disc.

Canvas Prints

We do many custom size canvas prints with the ability to both mount on a canvas frame and/or print a plain flat canvas texture poster. We can do them as large as A1 size and many custom sizes smaller.

Photo Scanning & Archival

We use a high resolution Epson scanner to scan your photos individually. We then go through each image to make sure the colour and quality meet the highest of standards; we can either print the photos for you or save them onto a disc for slideshow or archival purposes or both, if that meets your needs. We make minor adjustments at no additional charge to you, so that you’re delighted with the results of our work with your memories.

We print from sizes smaller than 6x4in all the way up to A1 sizes in both matte and glossy finish
